Making a Difference
We are committed to making a difference to the communities in which we live and work in by giving back to those less fortunate. We find this a very rewarding and do this in a number of innovative and unique ways.
Our Approach
Pledge 1%
SkyBridge Asset Management is a signatory to Pledge 1% - a global corporate philanthropy movement that commits to donating 1% of profits to improve communities around the world. Importantly, this 1% of profits is funded from profits generated by the investment manager not the investors in our funds. This is a great way for SkyBridge to give back by beginning contributions from our inception as a business and pledging to increase our charitable giving as our business grows overtime.

Giving Back in FY20
Mater Foundation
In FY20, we pledged 1% of our profits would go to the Mater Foundation to support Mater Little Miracles. The reason we chose Mater is because our founder and CEO became a Dad to a premature baby at Mater Mothers Hospital during the year. The baby experienced exceptional care delivered by the highly experienced and specialist staff at Mater Mothers over almost 3months with time spent in NeoNatal Intensive Care (NCCU) and Special Care Nursery (SCN). Mater Mothers and their specialist teams did an exceptional job, including support from their midwifery group practice (MGP) as baby is healthy, happy and is home growing stronger each day. This would not have been possible without the amazing care and support given by the Mater Mothers Hospital and its specialist staff. Mater Mothers delivers more than 12,000 premature babies in South East Queensland every year and more than 2,000 babies experience time in NCCU.
We plan to continue to support our communities and look forward to expanding our giving to more charities overtime.
