As Financial Planners we start with big questions around your life goals, be they personal, financial, travel, education, work, family or health-related.

They all have an impact on your finances and by understanding where your priorities are now and into the future will form the foundations of our understanding and recommendations.

Our tried and trusted Advice Process is where we start.

Advice Process

This initial meeting is an opportunity to get to know each other and for you to discuss your needs and goals with one of our experienced Financial Advisers. To gain a thorough understanding of your situation we will ask you about your current financial position, and to establish whether we can assist you.

We will explain the process we follow and what information is required. You can ask about your adviser’s background, how we work and how we charge etc.

We will confirm what services will be provided; any further information needed as well as give you an approximate cost involved to proceed. There is no cost for this initial chat.

Once you and your financial adviser have decided that you wish to establish a working arrangement, we will undertake research on your current position and evaluate suitable strategies to assist in aligning your finances with your lifestyle goals and objectives.

Our formal advice will be documented in a written financial plan called a Statement of Advice (SoA) which is specifically tailored for you and your situation.

This is an important document that sets out the strategies and products recommended, the steps to implement and our ongoing service.

Once your Statement of Advice has been completed, we will arrange a meeting to take you through our recommendations. Our aim is to explain what can be complex concepts and industry jargon in plain English so that you can fully understand how we manage your money.

We will step you through the list of recommendations in your SoA, and explain our reasons for making each one and the impact it will have on your financial situation. Each recommendation will be carefully justified, and we can also offer alternatives.

Once you’re ready to go ahead, your Statement of Advice will be put into action by our team who will work diligently to ensure seamless execution of your financial plan.

We will manage all the paperwork, liaising with providers (super companies and insurers) and keep you updated of any developments and answering any questions you may have along the way.

Circumstances can change over time and it is important to check in on a regular basis to ensure that the advice remains relevant for you. Regular check-ins are the cornerstone of our approach, ensuring that our advice remains tailored to your current situation.

Our philosophy revolves around adaptability. We take a proactive stance by continuously monitoring the performance of your portfolio. As your goals shift and your life transforms, we’re right there with you. Our commitment involves regular meetings where we review your progress, celebrate your milestones, and fine-tune strategies as needed.

Retirement Planning

It’s never too early to start planning for retirement. Whether that is aiming for age 67 or with a focus on Financial Independent Retire Early (F.I.R.E).

People often ask:

  • How much do you need in retirement for a comfortable lifestyle?
  • Am I savings enough?
  • How long will my funds last?
  • Am I on track for my retirement?

We can help answer these questions for you and ensure that you are heading in the right direction.  We begin by understanding your unique goals, risk tolerance and current financial situation. We then craft a personalised roadmap that emphasises savings efficiency, smart investments and ongoing support to keep you on track and provide peace of mind.

Centrelink and Age pension

Having a specialist in your corner to help you navigate Centrelink and their policies/regulations, and provide you with professional and expert support can make a big difference to the level of income you can receive in retirement.

Our financial planners can help you understand your eligibility and optimise your entitlements to government benefits with tailored advice on how Centrelink benefits fit into your broader financial strategy.

Whether it is assisting with applying for an entitlement, optimising an existing payment where possible, or assisting with completing forms or reviewing your current situation, we can help you improve your situation.

Cash flow and debt management

Cash flow and debt management are pivotal aspects of financial well-being. Effective cash flow management ensures that you have sufficient funds to cover daily expenses, savings, and investments. It acts as a financial safety net, preventing unexpected financial crises.

We understand the value of managing your cash flow and help our clients take control of their finances. We can simplify cash flow management by helping you track your spending, providing a clear view of your financial position, and making informed financial decisions.

We can also assist our clients by looking the appropriate debt structuring, debt strategies and reviewing any existing loan arrangements that you may have in place.
